St Patrick’s Strawberry Shortcake

Who doesn’t love a strawberry shortcake?⠀

These yummy clover strawberry shortcakes are so easy to make and super yummy! ⠀

Ingredients ⠀
☘️ Pillsbury crescent dough⠀
☘️ Strawberries⠀
☘️ Sugar⠀
☘️ 1 egg white⠀
☘️ Whipped cream⠀
☘️ Spinach juice purée optional
☘️ Powdered sugar & green sprinkles optional⠀

Directions ⠀
1️⃣ Lay the dough flat and cut out clover shapes. I used a snowflake cookie cutter and it worked out pretty well. ⠀
2️⃣ Brush dough with egg white and sprinkle with sugar⠀
3️⃣ Put in over at 325 for 20 minutes or until Golden. ⠀
4️⃣ Blend strawberries with a little bit of water⠀
5️⃣ Put strawberry mixture into a sauce pan. Add sugar, and a touch of corn starch. Heat to boil them let cool. ⠀
6️⃣ Add fresh cut strawberries to strawberry mixture and cool in fridge for about 10min or until completely cool. ⠀
7️⃣ Take crescent clovers out of oven and let cool. Then you’ll build your shortcake⠀
8️⃣ Built shortcake with Crescent, strawberry mixture, whipped cream, repeat.
9️⃣ For green whipped cream, you can use green dye or for a healthier option you can mix your whip cream with the spinach juice purée mixture. It turns it green and doesn’t over power the taste.
? Decorate with more whipped cream, powdered sugar, green sprinkles or with whatever you like. Enjoy!
